Associate Attorney

Shawnita D. Goosby is a licensed attorney in the state of Georgia. She is licensed to practice in various Georgia courts, including the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.  Shawnita's family hails from Alabama, and she proudly identifies as an "Army brat." After her father's lengthy and prestigious military career, her family settled in Columbus, Georgia, where she has since established herself in the legal profession.

Shawnita's educational journey includes an undergraduate degree from Albany State University, a master's degree from Troy University, and the achievement of her Juris Doctor (JD) from the Southern University Law Center in 2020. She solidified her place in the legal profession by successfully passing the Georgia bar exam in 2021. With a diverse background in civil litigation and criminal defense, she has discovered her true passion in domestic and family law. Her commitment to helping families navigate complex legal matters is unwavering. When not in the courtroom, Shawnita cherishes quality time with her family, finds solace in music, and enjoys the art of culinary craftsmanship.
